I had the most mind-bending experience at London's Paradox Museum. This interactive museum is packed with optical illusions, gravity-defying rooms, and reality-warping exhibits that will leave you questioning everything.
It’s the perfect fun and unique experience whether you’re snapping epic photos, exploring mind-blowing illusions, or just enjoying a break from the usual routine! The staff are brilliant, and every exhibit is designed to surprise and amaze.
If you're looking for something a little different then head here for a day full of fun and mind tricks you won’t forget!

Milestones an incredible, immersive museum that brings history to life! Set indoors, this living history museum is designed like a real Victorian and 1940s street, filled with authentic shops, vehicles, teddy bear museum and even a working pub!
Rupert and Joy loved exploring the cobbled streets, peeking into old-fashioned storefronts, and discovering how people lived in the past. One of the biggest highlights was the famous Milestones penny arcade, where you can swap modern money for old-fashioned pennies and try out vintage games!
There are also plenty of hands-on activities for little ones, including dressing up, interactive exhibits, and special trails for kids. A fantastic day out for the whole family and the best part...Pay once for a whole year's worth of visits!!!

If you’re looking for a family-friendly day out that blends history, adventure, and a touch of royal magic, Windsor Castle is an absolute must-visit! I recently took Rupert and Joy, and they LOVED every moment of it. It’s accessible, educational, and magical for kids and adults alike. If you’re thinking of visiting, definitely go for it—you won’t be disappointed!
From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how welcoming and accessible the castle is for families. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make the experience enjoyable, whether it was helping with directions, sharing fun facts, or simply making us feel at ease.
The vast open spaces were perfect for Rupert to explore, and Joy was fascinated by the grand surroundings. There’s plenty to see without it feeling overwhelming, and little ones can engage with the history at their own pace.
One thing that stood out was how well-equipped Windsor Castle is for families. The baby change and family toilets were brilliant - spacious, clean, and easy to access, making the day much smoother for us. There’s also plenty of space for buggies, which is always a plus!

From the moment we stepped inside, we were all fascinated by the interactive exhibits. Rupert was especially thrilled with the space-themed areas, while Joy enjoyed (and fell asleep to the Planetarium show - it was rather relaxing).
We watched the live experiments which kept every child in the room watching captivated. The hands-on experiments and challenges were a big hit with all of us, and it was so lovely to watch Rupert and Joy's curiosity come to life. We even took a little break at the café, where the kids refueled with some tasty snacks and then left of some steam in the soft play. It was a perfect blend of fun and learning, making it a memorable day out for the whole family!

Rupert absolutely loves planes and helicopters. We visited here about a year ago and he loved it as much then as he did today. It's run by volunteers who are all so lovely & helpful. There are a couple of aircraft you can sit in and there is even a simulator for the little ones. Highly recommended for any toddlers who love their air transport! Alot of interesting history & aviation science for the grown ups!

We absolutely love Brooklands Museum. Rupert was absolutely captivated by the vintage cars and airplanes on display, especially when he got to sit in the driver’s seat of a racing car—he was in his element! Joy, on the other hand, loved the open space, their new park and toddling around with excitement while pointing at the big airplanes in the Aircraft Factory.
The museum has a fantastic mix of history and interactive exhibits. Rupert had a blast pretending to be a pilot in one of the fighter jets and we all enjoyed climbing aboard the Concorde. It’s definitely a must-visit if your little ones love vehicles and planes as much as ours do!
Whether you’re into cars, planes, or simply looking for an outdoor space for kids to burn off some energy, Brooklands is a perfect spot for a family day out.
Thank you for having us back to really explore the wonders of your museum!!

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard including HMS Victory, the Mary Rose Museum, and HMS Warrior. With so much to see and do, it’s no wonder they say you can’t do it all in one day—but we gave it a good go!
The Dive 4D experience in the Mary Rose Museum was a highlight, bringing the ship’s discovery to life with immersive visuals, sounds, and even bubbles. We climbed aboard HMS Warrior, and got hands-on with kinetic sand maps and creative activities in the Navy Museum.
For little adventurers, there’s plenty to enjoy—trails, dressing up, and even a hunt for 12 hidden mice at the Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower in Gosport, accessible by water boat. HMS Victory Live lets construction-loving kids get up close to the restoration work on this legendary ship.
With unlimited visits for a year included in your ticket, it’s fantastic value for a fun and educational family day out—especially with the February half term coming up!
